Series IsoFlow provides a high level of protection to operator, product and environment and is designed for applications that require more protection than Class II biological safety cabinets, for example for working with high risk microbiological materials, preparation of cytotoxic medicines, basic sterility testing and TB-research.
Modular construction, many applications
Series IsoFlow has a modular construction. Depending on the application, the isolator will have a negative and/or positive pressure, an extra HEPA-filters underneath the working surface (or not) and no, one, or two hatches.
Because of the modular construction of Series IsoFlow, many different types of isolators can be composed for many different kinds of applications.
In general, Series IsoFlow isolators are called ‘Type Isolator’. This type can be used for high risk biological and other applications. Air pressure and extra HEPA-filters depend on customer’s application.
Examples of Series IsoFlow isolators for very specific applications are ‘Type Sterilator’ (positive pressure, emphasis on product protection) can be used for basic sterility testing and ‘Type Cytolator’ (negative pressure, emphasis on operator protection, extra HEPA-filters underneath the working surface) can be used for preparation of cyotoxic medicines.
